I got my Geek Fix today by enabling my Korg padKontrol to send keystrokes to my Mac using a piece of software called midiStroke. So far I’ve just set it up to do expose (F8) and spaces (number keys 1-4). I can however imagine a lot of possibilities and it is just something very cool in a grandiose geeky kinda way. I’ll post more information about the configuration as I develop it.

I want to blog, dammit!

I have so many things going on all the time and so much to talk about that is of interest to at least a few people that I have always wanted to be consistent about posting to and maintaining a blog. If nothing else, just to remember all the things that I am working on and the path that lead me there.

I have not yet acquired the habit to share thoughts and ideas through writing on a regular basis. I want to. So I am trying again. Maybe this firefox extension for Tumblr will make the difference. I don’t want a huge amount of overhead. Just something quick and easy to gather materials. I often get way too caught up in the design and look of things. I just want to focus on content right now.
